Cowbell policyholders gain access to complimentary Microsoft Exchange
migrations to Microsoft 365 Business Premium, empowering SMEs to harness the
full potential of AI and achieve seamless transitions to the cloud while
ensuring enhanced cybersecurity hygiene and risk assessment for new policies.
The new relationship harnesses the strength of the Cowbell
Connector for Microsoft to offer a seamless transition to Microsoft 365.
Cowbell now offers free cloud migration services to businesses in the US and
UK, providing its policyholders with the ability to enhance their security
posture, reduce exposure to cyber threats, and earn a 5% premium credit at
renewal by implementing essential security measures, including multi-factor
authentication and Microsoft Defender for Microsoft 365.This collaboration simultaneously
fosters the adoption of cyber insurance within the SME market.
"Cowbell is dedicated to enhancing our customers'
cybersecurity posture, especially as cyberattacks are on the rise for SMEs,"
said Manu Singh, Vice President of Risk Engineering at Cowbell. "We are
thrilled to partner with Microsoft to provide valuable services and resources
to our policyholders."
"As cybersecurity attacks continue to rise, our vendor
partners are coming together to strengthen the community with security
solutions that meet updated cyber insurance requirements," said John Dusett,
Executive Director & Category Leader, Cloud & Strategic Vendors at
Ingram Micro. "Cyber insurance often starts as a business decision to
financially insulate a company in case of a breach - for our resellers and
their end customers, it also creates a framework for establishing security
policies utilizing tools like Microsoft 365 to protect their businesses."
Prior to the migration, each organization will undergo an
evaluation of their current IT infrastructure, and once the scope of the
migration is understood, Ingram Micro's partners provide estimates for
migration duration, with an average turnaround time of one week. Once the cloud
migration is completed organization's will have the opportunity to gain a
deeper level of insights on their cloud environment through Cowbell's cyber
platform.
