Stack Identity announced the availability of its Shadow Access
Risk Assessment (SARA) product on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace.
Unauthorized identity permissions and credentials cause more than 80% of cloud data breaches
and security incidents. There are limited products on the market that
directly address the needs of overburdened security engineers who deal
with constant alerts, false positives and an overwhelming amount of data
spread across multiple tools and systems. To address this gap and
eliminate the need for piecemeal manual tools and processes, Stack
Identity developed SARA.
Because many early-stage vendors, such as Stack Identity, are not yet on
pre-approved vendor lists, the procurement process can often be
lengthy, cumbersome and expensive for both parties. With SARA's
availability on AWS Marketplace, Stack Identity customers and prospects
can now access the free solution.
"Shadow Access and Shadow Identities are major challenges for all
customers as they impact governance and compliance and can create unseen
risks in their environment," said Stack Identity's CEO, Venkat
Raghavan. "If they go unidentified, Shadow Access provides a gateway for
attackers to access data and cause risks like exfiltration and
ransomware attacks. We wanted to give customers the chance to take
advantage of the benefits of SARA through the AWS marketplace."
SARA will be listed next to the Stack Identity Standard Edition on the AWS marketplace.
