Leostream Extends Value and Utility of HP Anyware with Support for Flexible, Hybrid Workforces
Leostream Corporation announced enhanced support for HP Anyware software for virtual desktops and physical workstations for hybrid workforces. Combined, the complementary platforms offer a powerful way to provide secure, policy-based access to desktops and applications from any client device, from any hosting platform, via any suitable display protocol, with any compatible cloud.

HP Anyware, a successor to HP ZCentral Remote Boost, connects remote workers to high-performance workstations. As modern digital workspaces become more complex, the Leostream Remote Desktop Access Platform helps HP Anyware seamlessly transition and expand remote desktop infrastructure, maintaining performance and productivity as the environment grows or as more advanced workflows are implemented.

Benefits of using the Leostream Platform with HP Anyware include:

Multi-protocol support

Leostream offers HP Anyware users multi-vendor support that enforces the core objective of any connection-from anywhere. Employees can access resources from any client device, including PCoIP Zero clients, PCoIP Soft clients, iOS or Android mobile clients, and devices with Microsoft Windows, macOS, or Linux operating systems. Environments can use any hosting platform, including VMware, Amazon Web Service, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and more.

This multi-vendor support also extends to display protocols, even those used in highly specialized environments. Organizations can easily migrate from HP ZCentral Remote Boost to HP Anyware, and mix and match these display protocols with other commodity or high-performance display protocols to assign the best option for each user or group. Expanding choice in display protocols helps optimize licensing costs, and eliminates the need to pay for more display protocol licenses than necessary.

Advanced security

The Leostream Platform enhances the security of HP Anyware with robust features such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) and policy-defined access control rules that ensure users can only access authorized resources. The platform offers granular control over user access, tracks login and resource usage, and monitors for anomalous activity.

The Leostream Gateway can replace traditional VPNs for more secure remote access, and authenticate users in standard LDAP systems, such as Active Directory, or OpenLDAPTM.

Any scale

When the workforce grows, Leostream accommodates increasing users and workstations without increasing complexity. When it's time to shift from traditional desktops to advanced digital workspaces, including multi-cloud and hybrid cloud platforms, Leostream eliminates the disruptions typically associated with transitioning to new systems and adds cloud optimization capabilities. When the organization's workloads become more data-intensive, or rely on more sensitive information, Leostream ensures smooth, secure operations. Users maintain connections with the login and authentication processes they're familiar with, so there's no lapse in access and no sacrifice in performance or productivity.

"HP Anyware and Leostream now integrate smoothly for a comprehensive solution that addresses the critical needs of modern organizations-flexibility, security, scalability, and cost efficiency," said Randy Foster, Leostream VP, sales and marketing. "With Leostream, organizations using HP Anyware can modernize their remote work environment, create a digital workspace that meets current demands, and adapts to future challenges."
