Organizations now have the choice of scanning cloud assets, data and workloads in SaaS, In-Account or Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) Mode, giving them the most choice for enabling and scaling cloud security of any platform on the market.

As organizations store an ever-expanding volume of valuable data in the cloud, including personal and "crown jewel" data, they face more regulatory and privacy concerns over how it is handled. • In-Account Mode: For organizations to achieve a higher level of security and keep data within their environment, they can choose to only have the metadata processed in Orca Security cloud accounts, while scanning runs in the customer's cloud accounts.
• Bring Your Own Cloud Mode: In this model, the backend and scanning run in the organization's cloud accounts, meaning no data or metadata ever leaves the environment. This achieves the highest level of data security for government and large enterprises.
