Object First, the provider of
Ootbi (Out-of-the-Box-Immutability), the ransomware-proof backup storage appliance purpose-built for Veeam,
announced that CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Harry Kurland, Vice President of Sales Americas, to the 2025 CRN
Channel Chiefs list. This award recognizes the IT vendor and
distribution executives who are driving strategy and setting the channel
agenda for their companies.
Kurland brings nearly 20 years of experience driving growth for
technology innovators. In 2024, he led the expansion of the Americas
partner ecosystem, achieving a 200% year-over-year increase in
transacting partners compared to 2023. In addition, Object First
introduced a refreshed partner program, launched a new partner portal,
and rolled out a Hands-on-Lab series in collaboration with Veeam to help
educate resellers and their customers on ransomware-proofing Veeam
backups through Zero Trust Data Resiliency principles.
"I'm honored to be recognized by CRN on their Channel Chiefs list and
proud of the work my team has done to expand Object First's success in
the channel," Kurland said. "With Ootbi, Object First is on a mission to
ensure everyone has access to true immutability to ransomware-proof
their data, and mutually beneficial channel partnerships are an
essential part of that strategy."
The Channel Chiefs list, released annually by CRN, showcases the top
leaders throughout the IT channel ecosystem who work tirelessly to
ensure mutual success with their partners and customers.
"This year's honorees exemplify dedication, innovation, and leadership
that supports solution provider success and fosters growth across the
channel," said Jennifer Follett, VP, U.S. Content, and Executive Editor,
CRN, at The Channel Company. "Each of these exceptional leaders has
made a lasting channel impact by championing partnerships and designing
creative strategies that get results. They've set a high bar in the
channel, and we're thrilled to recognize their standout achievements."
