VMware Cloud Marketplace, launched earlier this week, enables customers to discover and deploy valid, third-party solutions for VMware-based platforms across public, private and hybrid cloud environments. Once validated, partners can easily publish their solutions for VMware customers across platforms. Customers will be able to access these third-party partner solutions directly from their cloud environments, while experiencing the convenience of features, such as notifications, reporting, and analytics.
Check Point CloudGuard IaaS protects assets in the cloud from the most sophisticated Gen V cyberthreats with dynamic scalability, intelligent provisioning and consistent control across physical and virtual networks. Through its use, Check Point delivers network security, micro-segmentation, and advanced threat prevention for Public, Private and hybrid cloud deployments.
Fully integrated security features include Firewall, IPS, Application Control, IPsec VPN, Antivirus, AntiBot, and Check Point’s award-winning SandBlast sandboxing technology.
CloudGuard IaaS promotes the automation of processes using APIs and supports Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. Additionally, centralized security management addresses the challenge of supporting multiple Public and Private Cloud providers by consistently configuring and monitoring all physical and virtual security instances in the cloud. It also supports north and south traffic inspection, providing improved security for VMware PKS and other Kubernetes deployments.
