Solink has launched Solink AI Agents, a new suite of digital tools designed to take action alongside security, loss prevention and operations teams, to bridge the gap between video feeds and actionable business data.
Introduced this week during the Solink Secure Summit in Los Angeles, these context-aware agents are built to understand, reason, and act across physical business locations, aiming to enhance asset protection and revenue security.
From Passive Monitoring to Active Reasoning
Unlike traditional AI tools that simply flag events for human review, Solink’s new agents are designed to function as “digital teammates.” Built on a specialized video-plus-data architecture, the agents possess specific roles and permissions that allow them to analyze events within their proper operational context.
“The industry is flooded with feeds and tools that create more noise, but we’re focused on increasing clarity and capacity,” said Mike Matta, CEO and co-founder of Solink. Matta noted that by handling repetitive, high-volume tasks like perimeter monitoring or transaction auditing, the agents allow human teams to focus on high-value decision-making.
Key Capabilities and Deployment
The rollout features two specialized agent templates: a Perimeter Security Guard Agent and a Loss Prevention Agent. These agents utilize cross-modal analysis, meaning they can simultaneously process video feeds alongside structured data such as point-of-sale (POS) systems, access controls, and alarms.
Key features of the new technology include:
- Workforce Augmentation: Agents monitor hundreds of cameras and data points simultaneously, surfacing only the specific events that require human intervention.
- Edge Integration: The technology deploys directly onto existing edge devices, such as Network Video Recorders (NVRs), eliminating the need for proprietary cameras or physical onsite intervention.
- Iterative Intelligence: As these agents operate within a specific environment, they are designed to learn and adapt, increasing their accuracy over time through continuous live deployment.
By shifting from passive analytics to active workforce augmentation, Solink aims to provide enterprises with a “force multiplier” effect-enabling security and operations teams to react to threats or inefficiencies with unprecedented speed.
